HISTORY[]
Max has a completely normal life with a completely normal family and there is absolutely nothing amiss or peculiar about her. She's outspoken and doesn't take shit from anyone.
In reality, Max lives alone in a one-bedroom apartment close to a quiet part of town (in the same neighborhood as Alec and Ben). She has no parents and no family that she speaks of. When asked about her past, she has an elaborate and very believable story rehearsed. She's trying her best to blend in and look normal while on the run from Manticore, where she very much does not want to return to. Ever.
When not attending school, she picks up odd jobs to pay her rent and keep up the facade of a normal life. Blending in means it's less likely for her to be tracked down for something absurd like being a runaway or some such.
ABILITIES & SPECIAL TALENTS[]
Max has all the normal X5 traits. Enhanced strength, hearing, the whole nine yards. Unlike the other X5's in the program at the school, she has a very visible barcode tattooed in black on the back of her neck. Because of this, she doesn't wear her hair up in public. Sure, it can be passed off as a dumb teenage decision, but she doesn't want to take the risk.
