He is a star and he will shine, damn it! Gram doesn't shy away from the social limelight or popularity of any sort, though he doesn't go seeking it either. Why, when he can just let it come to him? He's got a hot girlfriend (when he can recognize her from her sister), a good home life, and he gets laid on a regular basis. Life is nice when you're the king.
He has no clue as to his past and, as far as he knows, he's just a normal kid living it up. Eventually though all good things must come to an end and it's unlikely Manticore will keep funding a project going nowhere for much longer.
